Starting on Monday-10-July PSE&G will be working on W. Ft Lee R. between River Rd and Elm Ave. between 7:30am and 5:30pm. This to install new, durable plastic and/or coated steel gas piping. For more information, please visit their website at https://pseg.com/gaswork or call 833-661- 6100.

Bogota
Leaf season started on Tuesday-10-October until Monday-18-December. Homeowners are allowed to place raked, leaves and grass cutting in the street, along the curb, in front of their residents.  It is asked that the piles be placed in such a way as not to interfere with traffic, and away from storm sewers and drain to prevent flooding, or other water build-up. Leaf Season is schedule to end on Monday -18- December after that date all yard waste must be placed in brown leaf bags for pick-up.

The Bogota Recreation Department will hold its annual House Decorating Contest. This is open to all Bogota residents and will have three categories. The house decorating will be judged on Dec 22nd.    On Wednesday-29-November the Bogota Middle School has put up a Giving Tree in the main lobby. They are looking for any sized, gently used (or new) winter coats, new hats, new gloves, gently used toys (puzzles/board games/books). Donated items will be hung on the tree or place them under the tree as they come in. The General Public can donate items in the morning from 7:30a-8:15a at the front entrance and again from 2:45p-3:15p. There will also be a donation box outside during school hours.  All donations will go to families in need for this holiday season. This will continue until Thursday-21-December. The Bogota Chanukah Carnival and Menorah Lighting on Thursday-7-December. This will take place on Larch Ave. in front of Borough Hall starting at 4:30p. The Menorah lighting will be at 5:30p. It is free and open to the Public.

Bogota The Bogota Public Library will have a lecture the history of Comedy shows on Television. This will be presented by Mr. Martin Gitlin starting at 6:30p. The Village of Ridgefield Park will hold their remembrance of the attack on Pearl Harbor in Hawaii. This will start at 7:00p and be held at the Memorial Plaza on Euclid Ave. The Public is invited to attend.

  The Village of Ridgefield Park Board of Commissioners Caucus meeting starting at 7:450p. This will be held in the Conference Room on the third floor of at 234 Main St. Ridgefield Park. Meeting is open to the public.

Friday-8-December Ridgefield Park, NJ
The Ridgefield Park Public Library will host their Festival of Wreaths Gala starting at 7:00p. This will be a fund raiser for the library. Everyone donating will have a chance to be award a wreath at this time. The Gala will have refreshments and entertain from Mr. Joe Kenny with other special guest visiting. This will also be lived stream on the Library’s Facebook Page.

Friday-8-December Teaneck, NJ The Womens support group "Never Alone Again" and the Bergen County Food Security Task Force is offering hot meals to go curbside pick-up every Friday starting at 5:00p This will be held at their resource center located at 668 American Legion Dr. Teaneck, NJ.
