This Weeks Events

2-October-2016
 Some events scheduled to take place in and around Bogota for the starting on Monday-3-October .  Times and dates may change due weather or other circumstances. Please contact the event for the most up to date information.  More events will be added throughout the month.
  
Continuing    

  The Bogota Public Library has set out a box to collect old, and used Crayola coloured makers. Makers collected will be send to the Crayola company to be reprocessed. For more information please visit their web site at;  http://www.crayola.com/colorcycle

October

  The Bogota library will once again be holding it's food for fines month in October.  This will allow anyone with over due books, or other items  to donated a food item instead of paying for the fine. Each item donated will be equal to $1.00 worth of fines.  Items must to
non-perishable, and in a non-glass container.  All food item will be donated to the St. Joseph's food bank.

Monday-3- Oct.
Bogota
    The weekly “ Meet the Mayor”  event will take place in the office of Mayor Chris Keleman  This is open to any Bogota resident who would to ask the Mayor a question about  Bogota, or to discuss any matter to help improve the quality of life in the Borough. Anyone who wishes just to have an informal conversation with the Mayor is also welcome to attend. Meetings will be held on a first come basis. This will run from 5:00p to 7:00p in the Mayor’s office. His office is on in Bogota Borough Hall located at 375 Larch Ave. Bogota, NJ.

Bogota
  The Bogota Public Library will have the following programs:  Makers Lab for Students 4:00p -5:00p,  Unplugged game night    6:00p-8:30p. This is a free event, but anyone attending is asked to register with the library in advance.   To register for this event, or for more information please  about this and other Library events visit their web site at :  http://www.bogotapubliclibrary.org/

Bogota
    Senior Citizens will be offer the chance to a flu vaccine. This will take place at the Bogota Senior Center located on the second floor of thew Library at 375 Larch Ave. Bogota, NJ. Participant 65 years of age, or older must present their Medicare Part B information in order to avoid a fee payment. For more information please call 551- 996-2038


Tuesday-4-Oct.
Bogota

    The Bogota Board of Education will have their regular meeting and work session. Action may will be taken at this meeting. This will be held in the Bogota High  School  Cafeteria starting at 7:30p. This is open to the public. The Cafeteria is located on the second floor at 2 Henry Luthin Pl. Bogota, NJ

Thursday-6-Oct.
Bogota

Bogota 
 The Bogota Borough Council will be holding their regular Council meeting  and work session starting at 7:30p. It will take place in the Council Chambers of Borough Hall. Borough Hall is located at 375 Larch Ave. Bogota, NJ.  This meeting is open to the public.

Teaneck, NJ
  The Teaneck Farmers Market will be open from now until Thursday 27-October from 12:00n to 5:00p It is located in the  Beverly Rd parking lot at Garrison Ave  Teaneck, NJ

Bogota 

The Bogota Public Library will host a Mini-Makers lab for Students age 4-6. This will be held on the library first floor in the Teen quiet study area.   Blessing of the Animals at St.Joseph's will hold a blessings of the Animal service beginning at 12:00 noon outside the church. St.Joseph's  Church is located at 115 E. Ft.Lee Rd Bogota, NJ.
