  Some weekend events that are happening in, and around Bogtoa for the Weekend starting Friday 22-Aug.

Friday-22-August
Ridgefield Park, NJ
  There will be a make-up concert for the McGowan Park Summer Concert Series . This will be a performance featuring Angel Feliciano that was postponed from 2- July. It will be music of Romantic ballads from Broadway, Latin, and Flamenco. Guest Guitarists Lisa & Josue are also scheduled to perform.  The Concert is schedule to start at 7:00p, with a rain date of the following day at the same time. Admission is free of charge,but it is recommended to bring a lawn chair, or blanket.  This year Rosie's Weenie Wagon will be parked at curbside for food.

Fauna & Flora of New Bridge
Saturday, August 23, 2014 10 am Past President and HNBLPC Chairman Mike Trepicchio will lead a walk on the natural surroundings of New Bridge Landing including Brett Park. Native and non-native plants will be featured, their historical significance as well as a background on the historic property. Rain or shine, $5 for non-members. New Bridge Landing is located at  1201 Main St River Edge, NJ

On Monday  25-August the The Bogota Police Emergency Services Youth Academy will hold their annual Cadet reunion pool party at the Bogota Swim Club. This will start at 6:00p and go until 9:00. Cadets from all graduating class are asked to attend. The Public is also invited to attend to talk with past Cadets, and Staff members about the Bogota Police Emergency Services Youth Academy. Admission is free with Hamburgers, Hotdog, and soft drinks provided.  There will be Youth Academy items available for purchase with all process going to help fund  the Bogota Police Emergency  Services Youth Academy  class #05 in the Summer of 2015.
