The # 9 Bogota Bucs Men's Basketball team hosted #8 Palisades Park in the first round of the NJSIAA Group 1 Tournament. Bogota took a one point lead after the First Quarter and kept it with a 25 -24 score at the half. Palisades Park came out strong to start the second half of the game outsourcing Bogota 8-15 to have a 33-39 lead. The Bucs respond in the Fourth Quarter and pressured the Tigers to narrow the gap. Bogota came with in one point of tying the game with the Speary Gym crowd urging them on. The sound of stomping feet may, or may not have caused the missed Tigers free throw, but Bogota kept the chance alive until the final second with a equalizing shot falling short to give a 48-50 victory to Palisade Park.
Kenny Dixon lead Bogota in scoring with 17 Points while Brennen Rodgers had 3 Three Point baskets.
