Bogota Soccer

 16-November-2020

On Monday-16-November the Bogota Soccer Bucs would play their final home game of the season. They hosted the Bees from Bergen Charter School at  Zakrzewski Field in Olsen Park.  They starting time was moved up to 3:30p  in order to a account for having a game so late in November, as well as, having to play after Daylight Saving Time took effect.
Bergen Charter School score first at the 16 minute mark and then add two more goals to have a 3-0 lead at half time. After the restart the Bees would add another three goals. As the light dimmed after Sunset the game was stopped at the 30 minute mark of the second half, giving Bergen Charter School a 6-0 win.  The Bees were lead by Erik Estrada and Christopher Marroquin who each had 2 Points which were a Goal and Assist.
Bogota was scheduled to play at Ridgefield on Tuesday-17-November, but this was canceled due to heath concerns.   The Bucs finish their season with a 0-11 record.
After the game the Bucs lone Senior David Henao was recognized for his two years as a member of the soccer team. Assist Coach Samantha Smith presented him with a poster of him in action and a  team jersey.  He was first joined by his teammates, then posed for a few photos with his Father.
