October to December
    Monday-5- October will be the start of Leaf Season. Home Owners are allowed to place raked, leaves and grass cutting  in the street , along the curb, in front of their residents.  It is ask that the piles be placed in such a way as not to interfere with traffic, and away from storm sewers and drain to prevent flooding , or other water build-up. Leaf Season is schedule to end on Monday -14- December after that date all yard waste must be placed in brown leaf bags for pick-up.

Starting on Friday-16-October  Bogota Friends and Families are sponsoring a food drive for the St.Joseph Food Pantry in Bogota.  This is in conjunction with "You Give Goods." Teaneck, NJ
  The Township is Teaneck will be holding their annual Thanksgiving food drive until Friday-20-November.  Item that will be accepted are canned good focusing on vegetables, potatoes and cranberry sauce. Boxed cooks of stuffing along with macaroni & cheese. Frozen Turkeys and gift cards. Item may be dropped off at any of the Township Firehouses, and the Teaneck Public Library.  Other drop off locations include the Richard Rodda Centre at 250 Colonial Ct. The Township Municipal Building and the Teaneck Police Headquarters. Both located on the Municipal Green.

The Bogart Memorial Church will again offer in-person services. They will have both Spanish and English services scheduled to start at 10:10a. Masks and safe distances are required.

Trinity Lutheran Church in Bogota has started to offer their Sunday services again. Sunday service will start at 9:30a. The Sunday School will begin at 10:30a. There will be Wednesday Bible  Studies at 7:00p. Masks and safe distances are required. Trinity Lutheran Church is now handicapped acceptable with a new lift system.

   St. Joseph Church in Bogota again will offer their Sunday Service in person. The number of participant will be limited. The Church will have a registration system allowing individuals to sign up and attend Mass. This will be hosted by Director  of Children Services Mr. Tom Skrnich.  The event is open to any Student in grades 2-3. Ridgefield Park, NJ

Bergen County in cooperation with the New Bridge Medical Center.  There is also one scheduled for Monday-9-November in Ridgefield Park. This will take place in Overpeck Park located at 199 Challenger Rd. It will be open starting at 9:00a to 2:30p. At this location Flu shots will be available as supplies last.
  The saliva test is available to symptomatic and asymptomatic.Test results are known approximately between 48 and 72 hours after testing.  Everyone going to be tested must not eat, drink, smoke or chew gum 30 minutes prior to arrival. No prescription is required, and tests will be covered by health insurance plans. Residents who do not have health insurance will still be able to get tested. 
  All people taking a test must have proper identification, Accepted forms of ID are a driver’s license or identification card, Social Security card, passport, or birth certificate. For those without legal status, a foreign passport is accepted. Residents also have to show proof they live or work in Bergen County. An insurance card is also required, again residents who do not have health insurance will still be able to get tested. The Bogota Volunteer Fire will hold a second Blood Drive in Cooperation with Trinity Lutheran Church  This event will take place at the Trinity Lutheran Church located at 167 Palisade Ave Bogota, NJ. The drive will start at 2:00p and go to 8:00p, and is being co-sponsored by the Community Blood Services.  All appointment must be scheduled in advance.

The ceremony starts at 8pm and will be by invitation only. The will present the Bogota's Citizen of the Year award to the Family of Mr. Ed Sweeny. The Ralph Hall post is located at 240 Leonia Ave. Bogota, NJ

Due to heath concerns only a limited number of family members, for the home team, will be permitted to attend these game.

Football               The Bogota Football Bucs play against Palisades Park at Feigel Field Kick-off is scheduled for 1:00p Attendances is limited. 


Ridgefield Park Sports

All Ridgefield Park Varsity sports have resumed. Due to health concerns admission to all home game are for family members only.
