Creative Bergen announced it will be sponsoring an Art Amble to take place throughout Bergen County. It is scheduled to be held Friday-Sunday 11, 12 & 13 of June 2021. The Arts Amble is a public event showcasing visual and performing artists in their studios or a public space. This county-wide event that will welcome visitors from Bergen County, along with Northern New Jersey and New York to discover and support local artists. The Arts Amble will consist of Artists' studios, galleries, exhibition and performance venues that will open their spaces for public viewing. The objective of this event is to directly support Bergen County's art community by showcasing local art and artists. Creative Bergen is working in cooperation with Sustainable Jersey, and Bergen County HUB to promote the Artist community in Bergen County.
Applications for submissions is now open and will continue until Friday-1-April. To be included in the printed brochure map applications must be received by Sunday-28- February. Disciplines that may apply include: Photography, Painting , Drawing , Printmaking, Video, Film, Illustration, Collage, Sculpture, Writing, Music, Theatre, Performance Art, Sound Sculpture, Garden Design, Woodworking, Fabric Art and others. A printed map brochure will provide locations of the participants.
For anyone wishing to submit their work it is recommended to a attend one of the three public informational meeting that will be available. This will be on Sunday-31-January, Sunday-21-February, and Sunday-14-March. These will be a zoom meeting to learn more about the 2021 Art Amble.
