Periods of snow. Low around 28. Wind chill values between 15 and 20. Blustery, with a north wind 20 to 23 mph, with gusts as high as 36 mph. Chance of precipitation is 90%. New snow accumulation of 4 to 8 inches possible.

Tuesday

Snow likely before 4pm, then rain and snow likely. Cloudy, with a high near 33. Breezy, with a north wind 15 to 20 mph. Chance of precipitation is 60%. New snow accumulation of less than a half inch possible.

-WINTER STORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM 7 PM THIS EVENING
TO 6 AM EST TUESDAY...

-WHAT...Heavy snow expected. Total snow accumulations of 14 to
  18 inches. Winds gusting as high as 45 mph.

- WHERE...Portions of northeast New Jersey and southeast New
  York.

-WHEN...From 7 PM this evening to 6 AM EST Tuesday.

- IMPACTS...Travel could be very difficult to impossible. The
  hazardous conditions could impact the morning and evening
  commute. Gusty winds could bring down tree branches.

-ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Blizzard like conditions possible Monday
  and Monday evening.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If you must travel, keep an extra flashlight, food, and water in
your vehicle in case of an emergency.
