The Bogota VFW Post #5561 will hold a Flea Market on Sunday-8-June. This will take place at post headquarters at 241 W. Shore Ave in Bogota, Doors will open at 10:00a. Proceeds from this event will go for maintenance of the Post Hall.
This will be done in cooperation with the New Jersey Key Club. The NJ key club compromises of several high schools from different counties where the students earn volunteer hours for their resumes. For the Flea Market project, the students will be calling local businesses, inviting them to visit the flea market.
Items to be donated can be dropped off Wednesday-28-May from 3-5pm and Monday-2-June from 3-5pm. To donate items, it is asked everyone go to the canteen and ask the bartender where to place the items.
The Key Club will also be helping with the Memorial Day lunch on Monday -26-May. This will be held at The Bogota VFW Post #5561 Headquarters at 241 W. Shore Ave.
