On Wednesday-10-May, a new business in Bogota NJ had their Grand Opening event. The Saltscape Wellness Center is located at 8 Queen Anne Rd, just south of the Lt. Joseph Smith Bridge over interstate 80.
The Family business is owned by Ms. Judy Espaillat and her son Mr. Ryan Espaillat. They have created a Halotherapy center that uses a Dry Salt Inhalation therapy that is a natural treatment using micro-particles of pure salt that can treat skin and respiratory issues. They also offer additional holistic healing services including Reiki and Energy healing circle classes.
The center consists of two stories devoted for different treatments. The main entrance on street level which will welcome visitors, as well as offer merchandise for sale. This level will soon offer spaces for group and individual Reiki sessions. The lower levels will hose two salt caves for the Halotherapy treatment. The larger salt cave is for Individuals and groups to use. There is also a small Children’s Salt Cave which is used for Children under age 10, with their caretakers.
Bogota Mayor Ms. Daniele Fede attended the event and presented the owners with a welcoming Proclamation to the Saltscape Wellness Center in Bogota. This said the importance of small business to the Borough’s economy and providing services to the community. The proclamation continued in acknowledging the health benefits of their services along with adding to the vitality of Bogota. Then Mayor Fede watched Judy and Ryan cut a red ribbon to officially open The Saltscape Wellness Center, in Bogota.
As part of the décor there are a number of personal items that have special meaning to the owners. There are Dragonflies that represent Ms. Espaillat Goddaughter Army Staff Sergeant Angela Judith. She is also one of the inspirations for Saltscape. Another is Judy Mother, Angeles who loved Cats. With Owls for Ryan’s Great grandmother Aya who still and important part of his life.
Their next event is a New Moon Bath Circle on Monday 26-May. It will start at 7:00p and is in cooperation with The Woo Ess.
