The Borough has started a Hometown Heroes Banner program. This will allow residents of Bogota to honor a family member who serviced in the Armed Servies. The cost of a banners will be $150.00 payable to the Borough of Bogota. The Bogota Seniors will be having a trip to the Wind Creek Casino in Bethlehem Penna. on Thursday-19-June.
A coach bus will leave from the Bogota Public Library at 9:00a to Bethlehem, PA to Wind Creek Casino. The cost is $40.00 (get $25.00 back for slots). You can bring snacks and beverages on the bus.

Registration for the 2025 Bogota Summer Camp is now open. The camp will run from Monday-30-June to Friday-8-August from 9:00a to 4:00p. It will be held at the Recreation Center at 162 W. Main St. Bogota

The Bogota Environmental Commission will host its annual Shred Day. This will take place from 9:00a to 1:00p. This is a free service open to Bogota residents. There will be a shredding truck present which will allow residents to safely dispose of any personally, or sensitive paper document they may have. This is also a more environmentally friendly way of disposing of those documents. Paper is feed into a secure truck while being shredded then the truck transport the shredded paper to a processor which turns the paper into a fine dust, or powder which is then recycled into various paper products. This will be held at the Department of Public Works yard located at 282 Leonia Ave. Bogota, NJ.

The ARC of Bergen, & Passaic Counties will hold their 23rd walk for Children and Adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities since 2019. This will take place in Olsen Park. Registration will begin at 9:30a, with the walk itself will start at 10:30a. Olsen Park is located at 162 W. Main St. in Bogota, NJ. Due to construction parking is limited.
Parking is available at Bogota Swim club lot at 452 Feller Place
The ARC is a non-profit organization whose mission is to provide and maintain a full, & independent lifestyle within their own communities. ARC provides advocacy, community education, direct services, and customized support for those people, and their families, who have an intellectual and other disabilities. There will be live music, games, face painting, and other actives, before, during, and after the walk. There are a number of way citizens can contribute to The ARC. One is to be an event sponsor. Another is to raise money from pledges for how many miles are walked. This could be as an individual, or to form a team.
