 Some events happening in and around Bogota and Ridgefield Park for the week starting Sunday-1-June. Additional information will be added when confirmed.

  The Borough has started a Hometown Heroes Banner program. This will allow residents of Bogota to honor a family member who serviced in the Armed Servies. The cost of a banners will be $150.00 payable to the Borough of Bogota. The Bogota Seniors will be having a trip to the Wind Creek Casino in Bethlehem Penna. on Thursday-19-June.
A coach bus will leave from the Bogota Public Library at 9:00a to Bethlehem, PA to Wind Creek Casino.  The cost is $40.00 (get $25.00 back for slots).  You can bring snacks and beverages on the bus.

Note:
Registration for the 2025 Bogota Summer Camp is now open. The camp will run from Monday-30-June to Friday-8-August from 9:00a to 4:00p. It will be held at the Recreation Center at 162 W. Main St. Bogota

Sunday-1-June
Bogota 
The ARC of Bergen, & Passaic Counties will hold their 23rd walk for Children and Adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities since 2019. This will take place in Olsen Park. Registration will begin at 9:30a, with the walk itself will start at 10:30a.  Olsen Park is located at 162 W. Main St. in Bogota, NJ. Due to construction parking is limited.
Parking is available at Bogota Swim club lot at 452 Feller Place
   The ARC is a non-profit organization whose mission is to provide and maintain a full, & independent lifestyle within their own communities. ARC provides advocacy, community education, direct services, and customized support for those people, and their families, who have an intellectual and other disabilities.  There will be live music, games, face painting, and other actives, before, during, and after the walk.   There are a number of way citizens can contribute to The ARC. One is to be an event sponsor.  Another is to raise money from pledges for how many miles are walked.  The Bogota Public Library will have "Tiny But Mighty" story time reading starting at 10:30a. This is for Children ages 3 three years and younger. The Bogota Public Library will have a Crochet Workshop at 6:00p. It will be held in the second floor Seniors Centre.  Students from age 12-18 are invited to join and learn the basics of crochet. Projects can include stuffed animals, clothes, and other geeky goodies. Registration required. The Bogota Public Schools will hold a Grand Opening Celebration for the Bogota Athletic Complex. This will be held at 198 W. Park Pl. Bogota, NJ starting at 6:00p. The Public is welcomed to attend.

Teaneck, NJ
The Women’s support group "Never Alone Again" and the Bergen County Food Security Task Force is offering hot meals to go curbside pick-up every Friday starting at 5:00p This will be held at their resource center located at 668 American Legion Dr. Teaneck, NJ. Bogota
The 2025 Bogota Day will be held in Olsen Park. This will start at 3:30p with Rides, Games, and Activities, Food Trucks and Live Performances. There will also Emergency Services presentations and displays by local organization and Community Groups. 
At 6:30p there will be a Live Concert and an Adult beverage area.

Saturday-7-June
Ridgefield Park, NJ
The Ridgefield Park Arts Association will hold its 2025 Artsfest. This will take place on Main St. at Grove St. Artist Demonstration and sales will start at 4:00p. Live Music Performances begin at 6:00p. Open to the Public with no admission.

Bogota
 The Bogota VFW Post #5561 will hold a Flea Market at Post #5561 headquarters at 241 W. Shore Ave in Bogota, Doors will open at 10:00a. Proceeds from this event will go for maintenance of the Post Hall.
 This will be done in cooperation with the New Jersey Key Club. The NJ key club compromises of several high schools from different counties where the students earn volunteer hours for their resumes. For the Flea Market project, the students will be calling local businesses, inviting them to visit the flea market.
 Items to be donated can be dropped off Monday-2-June from 3-5pm. To donate items, it is asked everyone go to the canteen and ask the bartender where to place the items.
