Tuesday-16- Sept.
Bogota
   The Bogota Board of Education will have their regular meeting  and work session on Tuesday, September 16, 2014, commencing at 7:30 p.m. in the Cafeteria of the Bogota  High School. The Public is invited to attend this meeting.
The  Bogota High School is located at 2 Henry C. Luthin Pl, Bogota, NJ




Tues.- Sat.-16-20 Sept.
Bogota

   St. Joseph Church will hold their 8th annual Carnival & International food fair. This will be held in the parking lot across Palisade Ave from the Church. The Carnival begins each evening at 6:00p and go to 10:00p during the week and 11:00p on the weekend. Tuesday & Saturday will have one price wristbands available on those days. 
  The Carnival is also looking for volunteers to help with the carnival in various capacities.  Anyone looking to volunteer should contact Peter Montalbano at mrmonty51@gmail.com or Sandy Wieskus at 201-489-4731. There will again be a super 50/50 drawing on Sat. 20 Sept. those tickets can be pre-purchased by contacting Ms. Wieskus at 201-489-4731.

Wednesday-17-Sept.
Bogota

Bogota Beautiful has their next board meeting on Wednesday 17-Sept.starting at 7:30p. It will take place in the Council Chambers of Borough Hall. Located at 375 Larch Ave. Bogota, NJ. The Public is welcome to attend.

Thursday-18-Sept.
Bogota



 The Bogota Borough Council will hold their regular council meeting and work session starting at 7:30p. It is scheduled to be in the Council Chambers located on the second floor of the Bogota Borough at 375 Larch Ave. Bogota, NJ. This meeting is open to the Public.




Friday-19-Sept.
Bogota 
  There will be a Pep-Rally for the Junior Bucs Football teams. This will be held at the Softball field in Olsen Park. It is Scheduled for a 7:00p start.

Friday- 19-Sept.
Lyndhurst, NJ
 The second night  of Batstock 2014 will be on   Friday 19- September at The Meadowlands Environmental Center, LyndhurstNJ.  This event will begin at 6:00p with movies & live animal presentations. This fundraiser  will have  Joe D’Angeli  New Jersey’s “Bat-Man”, in an intimate “meet and greet-a-bat”  Enjoy drinks and snacks, movies, and the company of these friendly incredibly important  night flying mammals.And a visit from the  "Gotham Crime Fighter Car". Admission is $5.oo

Saturday-20-Sept.
Bogota
  The Steen PTO will be having a Clean- UP of the grounds around Steen School. They are looking for Volunteers to help with weeding, removing leaves and removing any trash around the school.  This will run from 10:00a to 11:00a .  Students & Parents are welcome to volunteer their time for the school. The Steen PTO will provided some refreshments.



Saturday-20-Sept.
Bogota

St. Joseph's School will hold it's 1st Spirit Sprint 5k run/walk. This will take place through the streets of Bogota and start at the Bogota Recreation Center. The race will start at 9:00a with the runners starting off first , and the walkers to follow. Awards will be given Women's & Men's division each with six different age groups

  Proceeds will benefit Special Olympics and St. Joseph Academy for more information download the flyer and Registration form sjabogota.com.

Sunday -21- Sept.
Bogota
 Bogota Volunteer Fire Dept Engine Co. #3 will be hosting a Circus that will take place in Olsen Park Tickets are now on sale . Advance purchase tickets will be $10 for Adults, and $8 for Students ages 3-12 years old. Tickets at the door will be $12 & $10 respectfully. Tickets may now be purchase at the Bogota Public Library, or at the Bogota Recreation Center. There will be two shows with a matinee at 2:00p and the evening show starting at 6:00p.  The Circus is being sponsored by Bogota Volunteer Fire Department Engine Co. #3
