Bogota Sports

   Results from Bogota Varsity Sports from Wednesday-20-April.
   The Bogota Track and Field squads traveled to Emerson for a  Tri-meet that also included Palisades Park. Both squads had split results. The Lady Bucs lost to Emerson 61-78 and out scored Palisades  Park 80-47. Their record is now 3-3 The Men's squad also lost to Emerson 47-  92, and beat Palisades Park 66-65. Their record is now 4-2
   They next compete at Bergen Relays on Friday & Saturday 21 &22 -April.
   The Bogota Baseball Bucs play at home against Waldwick. The Warriors scored at least two runs in each of the five inning game.  Three of the Waldwick players hit home runs on the way to handing Bogota a 2-17 loss. Waldwick's John  Apgar recording  3 Home Runs with 6 RBI's  Tin Baco hit a Triple for Bogota. Their record is now 4-4, They next play against Elmwood Park on Saturday-22- April. This will take place at the Feigel Field Baseball Diamond with the first pitch schedule for 11:00a






   The Bogota Lady Bucs also hosted Waldwick at Lady Buc Field. The Lady Warriors jumped out to a 2-0 lead after one inning. Waldwick pushed ahead 6- 2 after three innings.  After Waldwick scored their seventh run, the Lady Bucs start to catch up. Bogota scored 1 run in the bottom of the fifth, two in the sixth inning. They could only score one more run in their half of the seventh falling short by a score of 6-7. Jayleen Arce record a Double, a Triple with 2 RBI's for Bogota. The Lady Bucs record is now 5-4. They next play on Saturday-22-April in the Teaneck Tournament starting at 9:00a.
