Bogota Sports

10-April-2018
    On Monday-9-April the Varsity teams from Bogota played those from Midland Park. The Men's Baseball Bucs travel to Midland Park to play the Panthers. Midland Park's Sean DeMarco threw a three hit shutout as Bogota lost 0-5. They now have a record of 1-3. Their next game will be Wednesday-11-April against Bergen Charter School. This will be play at home on the Feigel Field Baseball Diamond with the first pitch scheduled for 4:00p


  
   The Lady Bucs host the Lady Panthers in Olsen Park. The Midland Park batters were able to connect off of Madison Heck early in the game and score 3 Runs in the First Inning. Ms heck also did not recieve enough defensive support as Bogota recording 5 Errors for the game. The Lady Bucs scored 2 Runs in the bottom of the third inning to cut the lead back to 3 runs. In the top of the fourth inning the Lady Panthers would put the game out of reach with an 8 Run inning. Midland Park would win the game  14-3. During the game Midland Park's  Leah Mercadante would record her 100th hit of her Varsity career.  Alyssa Vazquez and Sophia Marquez would hit for a double each.
   Bogota's record is now 2-1. They next play Friday-13-April against Emerson. This will be a home game at Lady Buc Field in Olsen Park. The first pitch is scheduled for 4:00p
