Bogota Basketball

  On Thursday-20- December the Basketball teams from Bogota played those from Midland Park. The Lady Bucs travel away to play the Lady Panthers.  Midland park took a 20 Point lead in the first quater and went on to a 61-20 win over Bogota. The Lady Bucs record is now 0-3. They next play on Thursday-27-December in the Ridgefield Holiday Tournament. This starts at 11:00a

   The Men's team hosted the Panthers on the Jay Mahoney Court at Speary Gym. Bogota would score the first  9 points of the game, and lead 16-7 after the first quarter.  In the next 8 minutes The Bucs' shooting would be less actuate, and would start committing more fouls.  The Panthers to advantage this to close the gap. Bogota would stay ahead 27-19 at half time. After the restart Midland Park continued to press the Bucs and out score the home team in the third quarter, but Bogota still lead 42-37.  Bogota then regained their scoring touch to domination the final quater and go on to a 65-51 win. Bogota's record is now 3-0. 
Ben Lukadu would finish with a game high of 23 Points. Melvin Bahon recorded a game high with 3 Three Point Baskets.
   Bogota will next play on Wednesday-26 December in the first round of the Garfield Holiday Tournament. They will play Mahwah with the tip-off schedule for 6:00p.
