Results from Bogota Varsity Sports 
Friday-12-January
The Lady Basketball Bucs traveled to Dwight-Englewood to play the Lady Bulldogs. The home team scored first and kept the advantage for most of the first quarter.  With about 3 minutes left the Lady Bucs tied the game at 4-4 then took a 2 point lead.  The first eight minutes saw Bogota in front by the score 9 to 6. In the second session the teams were tied again at 10 apiece. The Lady Bucs scored the next four points had a 14-10 lead at halftime.  After the restart Bogota continue their scoring run while shutting out the Lady Bulldogs in the third quarter. The Lady Bucs created a 17 point run before allowing another point. Bogota would win the game by a score of 42-27.  Emma Fowler had a game high with 22 Points including 4 Three Point Baskets.   Jenene Hall had a team high with 18 Points for Dwight Englewood.
Saturday-13-January
The Men's Bucs played at the Public vs Private Showcase in Newark. They would play Eastern Christian Eagles. Bogota took a big lead of 23-2 in the first quarter.  By halftime the Bucs advantage was 42-23.  Bogota would go on to win the game by the score of 74-60 Michael Olivo led Bogota with 15 Points. Lucas Genuario had a game high of 28 Points for the Eagles. Brandon Nicolas for Bogota and Lukas Faasse of Eastern Christian recorded game highs of 3 Three Point Baskets. 
Monday-15-January
  The Lady Basketball Bucs traveled to St. Mary to play the Lady Gaels. The two team were tied at 8-8 in the first quarter. Bogota built a 19-13 lead at halftime.  After the restart Bogota continue increase the margin to 35-22 by three quarter time.   Bogota would win the game by a score of 52-35.   Anandi Figueroa led all scorers with 16 Points. Emma Fowler had a game high with 2 Three Point Baskets.  Sophia McGonigle had a team high with 12 Points for St. Mary. Bogota's record is now 5-8. They next play on Wednesday-17-January hosting Ridgefield on the Jay Mahoney Court in Speary Gym with a 4:00p start.
  The Bogota/Ridgefield Park Scarlet-Bucs traveled to Demarest to compete against the Norsemen 13 of the 14 bouts took place. The Scarlet-Bucs won 5 bouts and fell to Demarest 48-21. Jaden Lemire at 150 lbs and Alexander Cruz at 190 lbs won by pinfalls. Marvin Madera at 126 lbs, Dean Sinisgalli at 138 lbs and Kevin Velasquez all won by decision. Bogota/Ridgefield Park record is 4-3. Their next match is Thursday-18-January against Emerson. 
  The Men's Basketball played the Cresskill Cougars at the Barkey Center in Brooklyn
They would lose the game by a score of 74-44. They now have a record of 7-7. They next play on Wednesday-17-January in Ridgefield at 7:00p.
