The Bogota Bowling Bucs defeated the Park Ridge Owl 7-0. Layla Grund had match highs with a 484 set and a 172 game. They are now 3-1. They next play on Monday-8-January against Midland Park. This will be held at the Parkway Lanes in Elmwood Park, NJ starting at 4:00p.
The Bogota/Ridgefield Park Scarlet-Bucs lost to the Leonia Lions 40-37. Of the 13 bouts competed Bogota/Ridgefield Park won 7 of them.
Friday-5-January
The Lady Basketball Bucs hosted the New Milford Lady Knights. They lost 47-25 Abigail Liriano had a team high with 8 Points.
The Men's team lost at New Milford 64-55
Saturday-6-January
The Bogota/Ridgefield Park Scarlet-Bucs competed at the Minuteman Classic in Elizabeth. The Scarlet-Bucs finished in 6th place out of a 23-team field. Daniel Villa at 113 lbs, and Adrian Laino at 144 lbs placed second in their division. Thier next meet is Wednesday-9-January against Lyndhurst. This will be held in Ridgefield Park in the Bell Gym starting at 7:00p
The Lady Basketball Bucs hosted the Lyndhurst Lady Bears in the She Balls Too Showcase. They lost 53-28 Emma Fowler had a team high with 16 Points including 3 Three Point Baskets. Bogota now has a record of 3-6. They next play on Monday-8-January at Leonia starting at 4:30p.
The Men's Bucs played at the Mel Henderson Memorial Showcase in Hackensack. They would lose to DePaul by the score of 76-52. Jaidin Gonzalez, Evan Abreu and Michael Olivo all had a team highs with 11 Points. They are now 4-6. Their next game is on Monday-8-January against Leonia. This will start at 7:00p on the Jay Mahoney Court in Speary Gym.
