The Bogota Bowling Bucs loss to the Park Ridge Owls by a score of 7 to 0 at the Parkway Lanes. Bogota’s Nico Lucarelli had both the high set with 532, and high game with a 186 for the Bucs. Park Ridge’s Brando0on Mathews had match highs with a set of 623 Points and a match high with a 248 game. Bogota’s record is now 4-4. They next play on Tuesday-13-January against Midland Park in the Parkway Lanes starting at 4:00p.
The Men’s Basketball Bucs traveled to Garfield to play the Boilermakers. Bogota held a 20 to 12 lead at the end of the first quarter. They still were ahead at halftime with a 36 to 30 advantage. After the restart, the two teams played an even third quarter. The Bucs finished the game with a 70 to 64 road win. Bogota’s Jaidin Gonzalez and Miguel Rodriguez, along with Garfield’s Harold Solomon all recorded a game high with 21 Points. These would be career highs for both Mr. Rodriguez and Mr. Solomon. The Bucs’ Ryan Fowler scored a game and career high with 5 Three Point Baskets. Adel Makic led the Boilermakers with 2 Three Point Baskets.
Bogota’s record is now 3-6. They next play on Wednesday-14- January in Pompton Lakes at 4:00p
The Bogota Lady Bucs Basketball team hosted the Lyndhurst Lady Golden Bears on the Jay Mahoney Court in Speary Gym. Lyndhurst controlled the game starting with a 16 to 9 advantage after the first eight minutes. The Vistors would leave with a 48 to 35 road win.
Lady Bucs’ Emma Fowler had a game high with 12 Points with 2 Three Point Baskets. Lyndhurst’s Brooke Harper and Juliana Gonzalez led their team with 11 Points. Ms. Gonzalez recorded a game high with 3 Three Point Baskets. Bogota’s record is now 4-5. They next play on Wedneday-14-January hosting Waldwick with a 4:00p tipoff on the Jay Mahoney Court in Speary Gym.
