WINTER STORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM 3:00a SUNDAY Jan 25 to 6:00p MONDAY Jan 26
-Heavy snow and sleet expected. The snow is expected to mix with or change to sleet Sunday afternoon into the evening. Total snow and sleet accumulations between 8 - 12 inches. A brief changeover to light freezing rain along with a few hundredths of ice may occur Sunday night. The precipitation may go back to light snow late Sunday night. Isolated wind gusts around 35 mph possible Sunday afternoon and evening.
-Roads will become snow covered and hazardous. Visibilities may drop below 1/4 mile due to falling and blowing snow.
- Bergen County has extended the Code Blue in effect through Tuesday-27-January 27 10 12:00n.
-With temperatures reaching 32 degrees or lower.
- Windfall temperature of zero degrees or less for a period of two (2) hours or more.

Snow before 4pm, then snow, possibly mixed with sleet. The snow could be heavy at times. High near 27. Wind chill values between 5 and 10. Northeast wind 6 to 14 mph, with gusts as high as 25 mph. Chance of precipitation is 100%. New snow and sleet accumulation of 7 to 11 inches possible.
-Sunday Night
Snow, freezing rain, and sleet, becoming all snow after 4am. The snow and sleet could be heavy at times. Temperature rising to around 26 by midnight. Wind chill values between 10 and 15. North wind 9 to 15 mph, with gusts as high as 30 mph. Chance of precipitation is 100%. Little or no ice accumulation expected. New snow and sleet accumulation of 1 to 3 inches possible.
-Monday
Snow likely, mainly before 7am. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 30. Wind chill values between 10 and 20. Northwest wind 7 to 13 mph, with gusts as high as 24 mph. Chance of precipitation is 60%. New snow accumulation of less than a half inch possible.
snowfall beginning early Sunday morning, January 25, the following parking restrictions will be in effect to ensure safe and clear roadways for DPW operations and emergency services:
Overnight Parking Restriction
- Effective: 2:00 AM on January 25 through the morning of January 27
- No overnight parking is permitted except in:
- Designated overnight parking areas
- West side of Larch Avenue, from the Teaneck border to Munn Avenue
Street Parking Ban
- Effective: 8:00 AM on January 25
- No vehicles may be parked on any roadway within the borough, except in the approved overnight parking areas listed above.
Enforcement
Vehicles parked in violation of these restrictions are subject to summons and impound.
