Bogota
The Borough has started a Hometown Heroes Banner program. This will allow residents of Bogota to honor a family member who serviced in the Armed Servies. The cost of a banners will be $150.00 payable to the Borough of Bogota. The Bogota Public Library will host a Tween Hangout Day Kids at 3:00p This will take place at the second floor Senior Center. The Bogota Public Library will celebrating Muslim Heritage Month with songs and stories with specials community guests It will be held in the second floor Seniors Centre.

Monday-19-January
Bogota
The Bogota Public Library, the Bogota Public Schools, the Department of Public Works and the Offices in Borough Hall, will be closed in recognition of Martin Luther King Jr. Day. They will open on Tuesday-20-January at their regular hours.

The Bogota Public Library will host a special Makers Lab this month, featuring cookie decorating event in honor of Muslim Heritage month.  It will be an Islamic themed sugar cookies with icing and sprinkles.  The cookies will be in the shape of crescent moons, stars, and mosques. This will start at 4:00p in the second fl.
