On Tuesday-20-January, the Bogota Seniors Club held their second meeting of the month. After lunch, a few announcements were made. Then those Seniors with Birthdays in January were recognized. They were given a cupcake and a personalized Birthday Card created by Mr. Rob Robbins.
Next the Students from the Bogota High School Jazz Band entertained the members. Their set included songs from the Swing Era to present day. A number of times a few people took the opportunity to step forward and dance.
The Bogota Seniors Club is a community group for local resident to socialize and get information on events and other community activities. They meet every first and third Tuesday of the month in the Senior Center on the second floor of 375 Larch Ave.
