Weekend Events

Some events scheduled to take place in and around Bogota, for the weekend starting  on Friday-15-June. Times and dates may change due weather or other circumstances. Please contact the event for the most up to date information.  More events will be added when they become available.

 Starting on Monday-26- February the main parking lot and front entrance to Bogota High School will be closed. This is due to the reconstruction of the Parking lot. Work is scheduled to continue until First week of September-2018.   All access to the High School will be through the side door on the North side of the building.

    The Bogota Public Library is currently conducting a survey to learn how to improve the services the Library provides. This will run until Saturday-30-June.

Continuing 
   The Bogota Police Dept has issued a traffic alert for Thursday-16-November. The Suez water company will be working on the main water line under the street.  Work is schedule  to continue until late January -2018. This will occur on W. Main St. between Larch and Elm Aves. This is scheduled to start at 7:00a and run to 4:00p. All parking on W.Main will be suspend during this time. Traffic in both directions may be detoured during this project, please plan alternate routes. Business parking will be permitted on both Larch and Elm Aves and may cause additional congestion on those streets.









Friday-15-June
Bogota

  Bogota High School  will hold an induction ceremony for the Bogota Athletics Hall of Fame for 2018.   General Admission if $50.00 for Adults, and $25.00 for Students aged 6-10. Any member of a team being honoured  admission is  $25.00. This will take place in Speary Gym starting at 6:00p.  A limited number of tickets are still available.  There will be no tickets available for purchased at the door.

The Bogota Public Library  will kicked off their Summer Reading Program with a craft & activities event in the Bogota Senior Center. Ridgefield Park, NJ
  The Ridgefield Park Elks Lodge # 1506 will be holding a All you can eat Breakfast. This will start at 8:30a and go until 12:00 noon Prices are $10 for Adults and $5 for student 12 and under. The Breakfast will feature an Omelette station, Pancakes, Bacon,Sausage, French toast, & scrambled eggs. There will also be pastries, cereal along with Coffee, Tea, Milk & Juice. It is asked to bring some Non-perishable food items for the Local Food Pantry.
The Elks lodge is located at the Corner of Spruce & Cedar Sts. Ridgefield Park, NJ

Bogota


The Bogota Public Library will offer an AARP  Defensive Driving Course. This is designed for drivers over the age of 50 and will explain update driving rules and teach defensive driving techniques.   The Bogota Public Library will present  Coffee, Cookies, and Colouring. This is designed to have a moment of relaxation by joining other for some cookies & coffee while passing the time to do some colouring. This is open to anyone 16 years of age or over. It will run from 6:00p-7:00p. This is a free event, but anyone attending is asked to register with the Library in advance.

    The weekly " Meet the Mayor"  event will take place in the office of Mayor Chris Keleman This is open to any Bogota resident who would to ask the Mayor a question about  Bogota, or to discuss any matter to help improve the quality of life in the Borough. Anyone who wishes just to have an informal conversation with the Mayor is also welcome to attend. Meetings will be held on a first come basis. This will run from 5:00p to 7:00p in the Mayor's office. His office is on in Bogota Borough Hall located at 375 Larch Ave. Bogota, NJ.
