Bogota Council

29-June-2018
   On Thursday-28-June the Bogota Borough Council held their second meeting for the month of June.  Some of the major items approved was the renewal of the Contract with Holy Name Hospital to provide coverage of Bogota by their EMS service. Also approved was to accept the retire of Sargent Jonathan Misskerg from the Bogota Police Department.
  Another items passed was to allow the introduction of a budget form the upcoming financial year. This will now be open to the public for comment at the next Council Meeting schedule for Thursday-19-July.  This meeting will start at 7:00p and is open to the public.
   Then the Council went into executive session. When the meeting was again called to order it was announced the the Borough and the Police Union had agreed on a new contract. This was unanimous passed by the council and will go into affect imitatively.
   The Council meeting for Thursday-19-July and Thursday-16-August will start  1/2 half hour earlier at 7:00p. The meeting will still take place in the council chambers located at 375 Larch Ave. Bogota, NJ. These meeting are open to the public.
