Ft. Lee Rd

7-May-2016

PSE&G have announced the schedule for the repaving of Ft. Lee rd. On Monday -Tuesday 9-10 May crews working for PSE&G will work on W. Ft Lee Rd from River Rd in Bogota to the entrance to the Harold Dillard Bridge into Hackensack. Work is scheduled to start at 7:00a and go until 6:00p weather permitting. Bothe that section of W. Ft. Lee Rd and the Dillard Bridge will be closed to traffic. Detour signs and uniformed  officers will be directing traffic away from the work area.  Crews will mill away the old road surface and repave the entire width of the road.  Only regrading or drainage  that will affect the paving process will be done.  The Contractor will replace the street markings as needed. The is the first part  of road replacement in conjunction with PSE&G Northeast Grid Project.  New electrical lines were added under the roadway over the past several years, in order to upgrade the delivery of  electricity from  two their main power stations in  Ridgefield  and Clifton.
The next part of the repaving of River Rd to Elm ave has not been announced as of yet. This will have no effect on PSE&G work ant Elm Ave and River Rd. That section of roadway that passes under the CSX railroad tracks is still closed to traffic until further notice.  For any further question , or information please contact PSE&G representative Mr. William Cesario at : william.cesario@pseg.com
