Bogota Varsity Sports

 Results of Bogota Varsity Sports from Thursday-17-January.
 The Bogota Bowling Bucs lost to Leonia by the score of 5-2. Ali Salam had both the high game with a 169. and high total at 463 for Bogota. The next play against Palisades Park on Tuesday-22-January. This will be held at the Parkway Lanes in Elmwood Park, NJ with the start time schedule for 4:00p.

   The Bogota Basketball teams play against  Palisades Park in a Co-ed Double Header  on the  Jay Mahoney Court at Speary Gym.  The Lady Bucs played the opening game and loss 46-23. Nicolette Costanzo lead all scores with 20 Points for the Lady Tigers.  Zaniyah Stewart record a game with 2 Three point baskets Maryann Gesmundo, and Kaylin Torres were the high scores for Bogota with 6 Points apiece.  Ms. Gesmundo, and Ruby Recio each had a Three Point Baskets  for the Lady Bucs. Their record is now 0-11. They next play on Saturday-20-January at Cliffside Park. Tip-off time is scheduled for 10:00a

   In the night-cap the Men's team defeated the Tigers by the score of 77-51. The first quater saw Bogota take a 23-19. In the next quater the two team played even, with the Bucs taking a still taking a four points lead going into the break. After the re-start Bogota would dominated the play and set themselves up for a 26 Point victory.  The Tigers Jake Shin would have a game high with 23 Points and 4 Three Point Baskets
   Bogota would be led by Ashanti Caviness with 21  Points. Evan Meberg would also score a high with 4 Three Point Baskets for Bogota. Bogota's record is now 10-3. This win qualifies for the Bergen County Tournament  The next play Sunday-20-January at Passaic Valley in the Coaches vs Cancer game.  This will have a   Tip-off time is scheduled for 1:00p
