 Results of Bogota Varsity Sports from Thursday-24-January.
 The Bogota Bowling Bucs lost to New Milford by the score of 5-2. Ali Salam had both the high game with a 152, and high total at 433 for Bogota. The next play against New Milford on Monday-28-January. This will be held at the Parkway Lanes in Elmwood Park, NJ with the start time schedule for 4:00p.



   The Men's Basketball Bucs traveled to Midland Park to play the Panthers. Midland Park  and Bogota would play close  first half.  The Panthers would have a one point at the end of the first eight minutes. And they would hold a 34- 29 lead at the half. After the restart Bogota would change its defense and limit Midland Park to only 8 Points for the rest of the game. The Bogota offense would take advantage of their opportunities and scored 21 points in the third quarter and another 20 to end the game. The Bucs would win by a 70-42 score
and give Bogota a 80-35 win  
   Bogota would be led by Ben Lukabu with a game high of 20  Points. Midland Park's Dave Kruis would lead his team with 11 Points . Mr. Kruis would also score a game high with 3 Three Point Baskets.  Argenis Soriano would also have 3 Three Point Baskets. Bogota's record is now 12-3.   The next play Saturday-26-January  as the  #17  seed against #16 Wood-Ridge in the First Round of the Bergen County Men's Basketball Tournament Tip-off is scheduled for 2:30p at Bergen Catholic High School.

   The Lady Bucs Basketball teams play against  the Lady Panthers from Midland Park.  This was played on the Jay Mahoney Court at Speary Gym.  Midland Park would have a 24-2 lead at the end of the first quater. Between  the first and second quarters Bogota Head Coach Morgan Taylor called out her team on their lack of effort. For the rest of the game the Lady Bucs increased their pace played a more competitive game. While the game was still out of reach Bogota showed a will to play hard and create their own chances on the court. Midland Park would finish with a 60 -20 win.
 Jesse Balala would lead all scores with 12 for Midland Park.  Maryann Gesmondo would lead Bogota with 8 Points.  Bogota's Dalechia Ashley would have 1 Three Point Baskets along with Olivia Calderone and Liz Herliny for the Lady Panthers. Their record is now 0-14. They next play on Monday-28-January at Dover Tip-off time is scheduled for 4:30p
