Sizzlin Seafood

10-January-2020
On Friday 3-January a new restaurant opened in Bogota. Sizzlin Seafood is located at 64 W.Main St. Across from the Kennedy Emergency Service Building. It is offering a variety of selections from shrimp and crab legs to salmon and flounder. They are using seafood that has been wild caught offering a fresher choice of product. The method of preparation also offers multiple choices of flavors. While frying is available, item may be steamed, grilled, or broiled to the customers taste. Owners Omar Sheila and Hanis Diab talked about wanting to bring  a fresher dining experience to the area. Mr. Diab, from Clifton and Paterson, was aware of the nature of Bogota. Calling it a small town with a big heart. He then heard about a storefront opening on W.Main St. With a location close to Ridgefield Park and Teaneck, and a direct connection to Hackensack, he could not let this opportunity pass by.
Brightly lit with an open floor plan, dinners enter the store with daily fresh selections displayed in front of them. The kitchen is under the direction of. Head Chef Frank Kandous. Chef Kandous studied for a while in in New Orleans. He  then took that bit of training, and mixed it with the recipes he learned from his Mother and Grandmother. Now Chef Kandous is balancing the flavors and spices, from his background, and combining it to accommodate the local taste.
Seating is limited, so  there is a steady stream of takeaway lunches. Sizzlin Seafood is also becoming popular for anyone wishing to bring home fresh seafood for dinner. Delivery service is available by online companies. Sizzlin Seafood is located at 64 W. Main St. Bogota NJ. They can be contacted  by phone at 201--880-0566 or on their facebook page at: https://www.facebook.com/bogota_sizzlin_seafood
