Teaneck Update

  Updates from the township of Teaneck. 
 It was announce that the Regular Council meeting scheduled for Monday-6-April has been canceled. No make-up date has been set.
   Tuesday-7-April-2020 is the last day to register to vote in the upcoming Teaneck Township Council municipal election. The Municipal Election day is Tuesday-12-May-2020, this election will take place with mail-in ballots only.  This is by order New Jersey Governor Phil Murphy. The Bergen County Board of Election will mail to all register voter in Teaneck starting on Monday-13-April. Completed ballots must be mailed back, and postmarked by Tuesday-12-May in order to be eligible to count.

  On Sunday-5-April Teaneck Mayor Mohammed Hameduddin, along with Deputy Mayors Elie Katz & Mark Schwartz, will be hosting an Community Interfaith call. This is scheduled to start at  3:00p.  Also participating will be leaders from different faiths on this day will include:

Father Joseph D'Amico, Church of Anastasia
Imam Mohammad Moutaz Charaf, Elzahra Islamic Center
Reverend Dr. Marilyn Monroe Harris, First Baptist Church of Teaneck

- Closing Remarks are scheduled to be given by New Jersey Congressman Bill Pascrell
