On Monday-1 June, the Bogota Athletic Department held a College Commitment Signing event for seven Students to announce which Higher Education Institute they will go to for the 2026-27 school year.
-Ms. Aa'niyla Craig in Track going to University of New Haven Chargers.
- Ms. Emma Fowler for Volleyball for the Ramapo College Roadrunners.
-Mr. Lukas Dolak, who is a member of the Nereid Boat Club signing with the University of Pennsylvania Quaker in Crew.
- Mr. Jason Alvarado for Baseball at Georgian Court University.
- Mr. Emmanuel Marin will attend Georgian Court University in Track for the Lions.
-Mr. Jaidin Gonzalez will be at St. Thomas Aquinas playing Football as a Spartin.
-Mr. Jayden Gonzalez with the Kean University Cougars.
Each Student was introduced by their Coaches told of their work and dedication to their school and teammates. Then each Student thanked their Families, teammates, and Coaches for helping them to earn this honor to go to the next chapter if their Academic and Athletic career. Followed by the signing of their letters of commitment.
Next Teammates, Family, and school officials talk of their time together in Bogota.
Later in the evening the High School held their Athletic Awards.
Some of the awards won then were
-Emma Fowler for Student Athlete, and an Ed Sweeney Scholarship
-Jayden Gonzalez for the Bergen County Coaches Association (BCCA) Award and Athlete of the Week for Football
- Jaidin Gonzalez and Nicolas Lucarelli for the BCCA Multi Sports award.
- Jaidin Gonzalez Ed Sweeney Scholarship
- Jason Alvarado Bogota Baseball Origination Scholarship.
- Emmanuel Marin The Steve Brown Memorial
- Ana Michel for the Bergen County Woman's Coaches Association (BCWCA)
- Logan Canada and Isabella Cruz for the BCWCA Multi Sports award.
- Fergie Onate Avila for the Michael Lukacs Legacy.
The Coaches awards were won by Hussain Salam, Nicolas Lucarelli, Melannie Solis, Cristina Ter-Meliksetian, Zohaib Syed.
