Board of Education

  On Tuesday-3-January the Bogota Board of Education held their reorganization meeting for the year 2017. The three candidates who received the most vote from the General Election held in November. Lisa Kohles with 909 votes, Amanda Montgomery with 894 votes and Charles Severino with 708 votes were declared the winners of the the three seats available on the Board of Education. These are for a three year term each.  Business Administrator Robert Brown issued the oath of office to the three Candidates.   The Board first order of business was to elected Charles Severino to be Board President, and Pat McHale as Vice President.
  The Board then approved the schedule of meeting for the year 2017 and other procedural items. The next Work session will be Tuesday 10-January. This is Schedule to start 7:30p and be held in the Cafeteria of Bogota High School located on the second floor of 2 Henry Luthin Pl Bogota, NJ.
