On Saturday-21-January the Bogota/ Weehawken wrestlers hosted a quad match at Speary Gym. In the first match their opponent was Ridgefield Park. Bogota/ Weehawken lost to the Scarlets by the score of 24-55. Tyler Williams at 138lbs, James Brackett at 170lbs and Alfonso Salandra at 182 lbs scored Pin Falls. Next Bogota/ Weehawken took on Ft. Lee and won by the score of 55-22. Brandon Gonzalez at 132 lbs, Tyler Williams at 138 lbs, Jevon Stephenson at 152 lb, Michael Fitzgerald at 160 lbs, James Brackett at 170 lbs Simon Cardona at 220 lbs, and Evan Schroer at 285 lbs all scores Pin Falls (B) In addition Michael Martinez at 128 recorded a Major Decision. In their final match of the afternoon Bogota/ Weehawken beat Rutherford 48-19 Brandon Gonzalez at 132 lbs, Tyler Williams at 138 lbs both scored Pin Falls.
After these matches Bogota/ Weehawken record is now 9-10. They next have a Match on Wednesday 25-January against Leonia. This will take place in Speary Gym with the first bout scheduled to start at 7:00p.
