Bogota Sports

   Results from the Bogota Varsity sports played on Thursday-14-September.
   The Bogota Soccer Bucs traveled to Midland Park and suffer a 0-1 loss to the Panthers.  After a scoreless first half the Panther recorded the only goal of the game in the second half. Bogota's record is now 0-3. They next play on Saturday-16-September at Dayton. Kick off is scheduled for 10:00a
  The Bogota Lady Bucs Volleyball team host the Lady Panthers from Midland Park at Speary Gym. Midland Park served first and score the first point of the set.  When Bogota won the next side-out they quickly gained the lead. The Lady Panthers would tie the set until service points by Lizbeth Suarez and Leila Ksiyer would push Bogota to a 25-16 first set win. The second Midland Park would again take an early lead, and the Lady Bucs would comeback to take the lead.  In this set Bogota would not give up the lead and win the set 25-14 and the match 2-0. Bogota's record is now 3-0.
    Anna Granquist would lead the team with 4 Aces, Lisbeth Suarez would have match highs with 12 Service Points and 20 Digs, Nylene Mateo had a match high of 12 Kills, and Alyssa Vazquez would record 26 Assists
   They next play on Tuesday-19-September against Emerson at home in Speary Gym. The match is scheduled to begin at 4:00p
