Weekend Events

Some events scheduled to take place in and around Bogota, for the weekend starting on Thursday-21-September.  Times and dates may change due weather or other circumstances. Please contact the event for the most up to date information.  More events will be added when they become available.

 Starting on Thursday-16 March the  Lt William Ryan Bridge will be closed for replacement.   Construction is schedule to take 10 Months to complete. 



                                                                       

Charity 
Bayada Health Care, which has offices in Hackensack and other North Jersey locations, is working with the American Red Cross has set-up a donation page to assist those in need from the recent hurricane affecting the Gulf Coast. Wednesday- Saturday 20-23-September
Bogota
     Starting on Wednesday 20-Sept. and going until Saturday 23- Sept. The St.Joseph's Church will hold their 11th annual Carnival and Food Festival.  Rides will open at 6:00p and run until 10:00p Weekdays, and 11:00p on Weekends. They will be selling super 50/50 tickets for $100 /ticket.  This year there will only be 100 tickets sold. The grand prize will be 35% of the money raised . A second prize of 15% will also be awarded. They are also looking for Volunteers to help with each day of the Carnival.  For more information, or to register to volunteer  please contact Carol Bobat at 201-3425976. This will take place in the parking lot across from the Church located at Palisade Ave. & E. Ft. Lee Rd

The Bogota Borough Council will be holding their regular Council meeting  and work session starting at 7:30p.  It will take place Council Chambers on the second floor of the Bogota Borough Hall. This is located at 375 Larch Ave. Bogota, NJ.  This meeting is open to the public.

  The Teaneck Farmers Market will be open from now until Thursday 26-October from 12:00n to 5:00p It is located in the  Beverly Rd parking lot at Garrison Ave  Teaneck, NJ

   The Cedar Lane Business  District will host a series of Zumba starting at 7:00p. This will be held  the Chestnut Ave open space between Chestnut Ave, and Cedar Ln in Teaneck, NJ.  This is a free event, and open to all ages and skill levels.

   The Bogota  Public Library  host their Toddler play group. This is an opportunity for   young children and their Parents to play and relax in a safe area.  The Ridgefield Park's  Elks Lodge #1506 will hold its third annual Parking lot Picnic   This will start at 2:00p and feature a mix of food items for an open afternoon. Tickets are priced at $25.00 per person with Children under 12 costing $12.00  Proceeds from these events will go to assist in funding Elks charities. Registrations  are required, for more information or to order tickets please call Ed Galas at 201-641-5616

       The Library will have its Teen Advisory Group.  This is  an event open to grades 6-12. Group members will  participate in various activities and interact with peers. Bring your ideas, creativity, and enthusiasm to the table. The weekly " Meet the Mayor"  event will take place in the office of Mayor Chris Keleman  This is open to any Bogota resident who would to ask the Mayor a question about  Bogota, or to discuss any matter to help improve the quality of life in the Borough. Anyone who wishes just to have an informal conversation with the Mayor is also welcome to attend. Meetings will be held on a first come basis. This will run from 5:00p to 7:00p in the Mayor's office. His office is on in Bogota Borough Hall located at 375 Larch Ave. Bogota, NJ.

Soccer-                      vs Ridgefield 11:00a in Olsen Park.
Football-                  at Emerson  7:00p 
Junior Football     vs Weehawken  at Fiegel Field. Pee-Wee kickoff at 11:00a the other divisions to follow. This will be the opening games for the 2017 season
