On Monday-14-October the City of hackensack opened part of Main St. to two way traffic. The section between from Sussex St. (near the Courthouse Green) to Atlantic Ave will be one lane in each direction. There will be limited street parking within this two block area. Street parking will only be allowed along the Northbound lane.
Main St south of Sussex to Hudson St. will continues to be open for two way traffic. Main St North of Atlantic to the intersection with State St. near E. Ward St will remain a one way street with traffic moving to the north. State Street still is a two way street from Passaic St to Hudson St.
