October to December
    Monday-1- October will be the start of Leaf Season. Home Owners are allowed to place raked, leaves and grass cutting  in the street , along the curb, in front of their residents.  It is ask that the piles be placed in such a way as not to interfere with traffic, and away from storm sewers and drain to prevent flooding , or other water build-up. Leaf Season is schedule to end on Monday -16- December after that date all yard waste must be placed in brown leaf bags for pick-up.

Ridgefield Park, NJ
  The Ridgefield Park Elks Lodge # 1506 will be holding a All you can eat Breakfast. This will start at 8:30a and go until 12:00 noon Prices are $10 for Adults and $5 for student 12 and under. The Breakfast will feature an Omelette station, Pancakes, Bacon,Sausage, French toast, & scrambled eggs. There will also be pastries, cereal along with Coffee, Tea, Milk & Juice. It is asked to bring some Non-perishable food items for the Local Food Pantry.
The Elks lodge is located at the Corner of Spruce & Cedar Sts. Ridgefield Park, NJ

Bogota
The next meeting  of the Bogota Test Kitchen will be held in the second floor of the Bogota Library. At this meeting members are to bring a recipe from this month book, and serve it to the other members as a potluck dinner. While over dinner members can discuss the book, why the chose their dish, and what was it like in the cooking process.   This is a free event and open to anyone over the age of 18 years old.  Anyone wishing to participate must register before hand, with the cookbook of the month available at the Library. The weekly " Meet the Mayor"  event will take place in the office of Mayor Chris Keleman This is open to any Bogota resident who would to ask the Mayor a question about  Bogota, or to discuss any matter to help improve the quality of life in the Borough. Anyone who wishes just to have an informal conversation with the Mayor is also welcome to attend. Meetings will be held on a first come basis. This will run from 5:00p to 7:00p in the Mayor's office. His office is on in Bogota Borough Hall located at 375 Larch Ave. Bogota, NJ.

The Bogota  Public Library will have  story time reading  starting at 10:30a. . This is open available to any Student wishing to join in.  This will be held  under the tree in the Nikki Spiegel Story Time Corner. The Bogota Public Library will host lessons and games of Canasta. This will take place every second & fourth Thursday of the month starting at 1:00p

 The Bogota Public Library host their Trivia Night with Mr. Roman. Thursday-24-October
Teaneck, NJ
This the Teaneck Farmers Market will be open for this season. Shoppers will be able purchase locally grown  and produced food items.  This annual event will be every Thursday from June to the end of October. The stand open at 12:00 noon and continue until 6:00p   The Teaneck Farmers Market is located in the municipal parking lot along Beverly Rd Teaneck, NJ. There is additional parking available near by.

   The Bogota  Public Library  host their Toddler play group. This is an opportunity for   young children and their Parents to play and relax in a safe area. Bogota 
The Bogota Public Library will hold their annual Haunted Library  starting at 11:00a this will continued until 12:30p. There will be movies, games and crafts for the Students. They will also again have a Terror Tunnel to explore. The Bogota Public library is located at 375 Larch Ave Bogota, NJ.
  Also the bogota Recreation Department will be host a Bogota Fall Festival. This will take place in Olsen Park Bogota, NJ.  The festival is scheduled to start at 12:30p Activities planned are Arts & Crafts, Games, a petting Zoo along with live music. A number of Food trucks are scheduled to be  on hand.
 Both of these event are free to the Public.

Bogota 
Bounce Party Mania is presenting a Halloween Extravaganza  to celebrate the open of its Bogota location. This will run from 12:00n to 4:00p  And is located at 68 W. Main Street Bogota, NJ.  They will have a photo booth, facepainting and costumed characters available. A $10.00 child pass that will included access to all activities.
