Senior game

 On Saturday-26-October The Bogota Football Bucs played their final home game of the 2019 season against the North Arlington Vikings. Before the game the Seniors Football Players and Cheerleaders were recognized.  Players Harrison Herbuns, Dayval Chimilio,  and Robert Fabijanczuk along with Assist Coach Brandon Montalvo were presented to the audience with their Family. Senior Cheerleaders  Victoria Alvarez, Riya Chatterji and  Griseylis Lopez  were also honoured with their family. The Marching Buccaneer Band and twitters were recognized at half time.
   The game started with North Arlington receiving the kick-off. On the return the Bucs would forced a fumble and they were able to recover the ball. Bogota could not take advantage of the chance and turn the ball back over on downs. The Vikings also could not mount a scoring drive and Bogota would have there second possession of the game. The Bucs put together a scoring drive capped off by a Dayval Chimilo pass to Ashanti Caviness  to open the scoring, Bogota would convert the extra points and hold an 8-0 lead after the first 12 minutes. Bogota would score again in the second quater on a Touchdown run by Dayval Chimilio. On the ensuing kickoff the Vikings Joey Witt would return the ball for a major score. The Bucs would hold a 16-8 advantage going into the locker room. The two teams would trade scores and at the end of Three Quarter time Bogota still held the lead at 22-16.  Bogota's Dayval Chimilio would run for another touchdown and with a successful two points afterwards the Bucs held a 14 point lead. North Arlington's Danny Gonzalez would catch a touchdown pass from Joey Witt cut the margin to 8 points. The Bucs defense would stop the two point conversion and maintain their lead.  Bogota's Robert Fabijanczuk would force a bad throw by the North Arlington Quarterback from out of the endzone. The resulting penalty for grounding would give Bogota a 2 Point Safety and make the final score a 32-22 win for the Bucs.
Bogota's record is now 2-5. They play their final game of the season on Friday-1-November at Becton. the kick-off is scheduled for 7:00p
