Town Wide Garage Sale

   On Saturday-3-October  the Bogota Band Parents sponsored its annual town wide garage sale. For a donation to the Bogota Marching Buccaneer Band residents received a lawn sign to show their support of the marching band. Participants were also listed on the official sale map posted on line. Bargain seekers traveled the streets of Bogota to find those item that may be special to them. Approximately two dozen location where set-up thorough-out the Borough.  Mostly private residences displaying items from clothing, and household goods to see if anyone else would find them appealing. Along with a large number of toys available  from families whose own children have out grown them. But could be welcomed by the next generation of Children, or Grand Children.  Joining in, with there support,  was the Bogota Public Library offering a wide arranged of books. Another was Trinity Lutheran Church which a variety of books and hand made crafts available.

  The Bogota Band Parents is a group of Families who  join together to help fund the High School music  program when School fund are not available. Some of the help provided is trip planning and addition transportation to away football game, and Band competitions. Providing chaperoning for trips and all the other items needed for a successful Band program.
