October to December
    Monday-5- October will be the start of Leaf Season. Home Owners are allowed to place raked, leaves and grass cutting  in the street , along the curb, in front of their residents.  It is ask that the piles be placed in such a way as not to interfere with traffic, and away from storm sewers and drain to prevent flooding , or other water build-up. Leaf Season is schedule to end on Monday -14- December after that date all yard waste must be placed in brown leaf bags for pick-up.

Starting on Friday-16-October  Bogota Friends and Families are sponsoring a food drive for the St.Joseph Food Pantry in Bogota.  This is in conjunction with "You Give Goods."   The Bogota Recreation Commission will host their annual Fall Festival in Olsen Park.  This is schedule to start at 1:00p and run until 4:00p. Admission is free. There is a planned " Trunk and Treat", a Pumpkin Patch and games. Food maybe limited due to health concerns.   Anyone  attending are welcome to dress in costumes, wear of mask and safe distancing  are mandatory.

Black Box Performing Arts Center will be hosting a virtual open mic by Skeeball Jerry. 
He will be available  to answer all of your burning questions. From survival tips, to dating advice, to fun facts about the Skeeball Master himself - Jerry's got the answers!

The Bogart Memorial Church will again offer in-person services. They will have both Spanish and English services scheduled to start at 10:10a. Masks and safe distances are required.

Trinity Lutheran Church in Bogota has started to offer their Sunday services again. Sunday service will start at 9:30a. The Sunday School will begin at 10:30a. There will be Wednesday Bible  Studies at 7:00p. Masks and safe distances are required. Trinity Lutheran Church is now handicapped acceptable with a new lift system.

   St. Joseph Church in Bogota again will offer their Sunday Service in person. The number of participant will be limited. The Church will have a registration system allowing individuals to sign up and attend Mass.  The Bogota Library will have Teen Halloween craft available for pick-up starting on this day.

 They will have a Do It Yourself  masquerade mask kits available to celebrate Halloween. The kit comes with one blank mask and everything you need to decorate it yourself.

Crafts will be available inside the library to pick up starting Monday, October 19th. No registration or reservations required. Please note that crafts are available on a first come, first served basis. Only 1 craft per person permitted. Be sure to share your creations to our Facebook page!

Bogota Sports

Due to heath concerns only a limited number of family members, for the home team, will be permitted to attend these game.

Soccer                 The Bogota Soccer Bucs play at Hasbrouck Heights . Kick-off is scheduled  for 4:00p Attendances is limited.

Friday-23-October
Football               The Bogota Football Bucs at Emerson Kick-off is scheduled  for 7:00p Attendances is limited. 

Saturday-24-October
Cross Country     The Bogota Cross Country Bucs will compete in the Garrett Invitational Meet. This will be held at the Garrett Mountain Race Course  scheduled to start at 9:00a. This is closed to the Public. 
Soccer                 The Bogota Soccer Bucs play against Eastern Christian at Zakrzewski Field in Olsen Park. Kick-off is scheduled  for 11:00a Attendances is limited.

Monday-26-October
Soccer                 The Bogota Soccer Bucs play at New Milford. Kick-off is scheduled  for 4:00p Attendances is limited.

Ridgefield Park Sports

All Ridgefield Park Varsity sports will continue starting on Monday-19-October. Due to health concerns admission to all home game are for family members only.
