Bogota Board of Education

     On Tuesday-9-November the Bogota Board of Education held their first meeting of the month. In his report Superintendent Mr. Damian Kennedy announced a few new items. He said that a new Physics teacher has been hired and will start as soon as possible. Another item was that the District has formally closed on the old Masonic Temple at Palisade Ave.  He described the next step is to have the structure inspected by the District's professional so that plans can be made for how the building can be best use. On more announcement was the beginning of the Adult English as Second Language classes. Superintendent Kennedy was encouraged by number of people that were in attendance. Superintendent Kennedy also announced that the Bogota Middle School will hold an Open House for the Patents and other members of the public. This will take place on Saturday-13-November starting at 12:00n. The entrance to be used is in the upper parking lot located off of Fourth Pl.  Bogota NJ 
  The one  of the agenda items voted was the hiring of the new Physics Teacher Mr. Kevin Kotharu. 
 All other agenda items were moved to be formally vote on at the next Board of Education meeting. The next Board of Education will be Tuesday-16-November at 7:00p This will be held in person at the Bogota High School Cafeteria located on the second floor at 2 Henry Luthin Pl.
