On Thursday-18-November the New Jersey Group I Champions Bogota Lady Bucs played New Jersey Group II Champions Mendham Minutemaids in the 2021 New Jersey State Interscholastic Athletic Association Tournament of Championship opening round. This was played at Mendham.
The Minutemaids would control both sets to win the match by a score of 2-0 (25-16 : 25-14) Mendham's defense would prevent Bogota from creating long service runs. Minutemaids' Sarah Wilcock had a match high with 12 Service points including 4 Aces. Bogota's Helena Tobin scored 5 Service points. Ashanna Caviness had a match high with 10 Kills. Mendham's Gabby David had 8 Kills. Mia Pimentel recorded 17 Assists with Sarah Wilcock having 10 Assists for the home team. Chole Czop record a match high with 13 Digs while Angelina Buhler recorded 9 Digs for the Lady Bucs. Poppy Skjonnemand led all players with 4 Blocks and Ashanna Caviness getting 2 Blocks.
