October to December
    Monday-4-October will be the start of Leaf Season. Home Owners are allowed to place raked, leaves and grass cutting  in the street , along the curb, in front of their residents.  It is ask that the piles be placed in such a way as not to interfere with traffic, and away from storm sewers and drain to prevent flooding , or other water build-up. Leaf Season is schedule to end on Monday -13- December after that date all yard waste must be placed in brown leaf bags for pick-up.

October to December
  Friday-15-October will be the start of Leaf Season. Bogota Friends and Families have started their annual  Toy Drive with You Give Goods. They will  again be working with the Bogota Police Department  to supply them for their annual Holiday Toy Drive.  All gifts will be shipped directly to the Bogota Police Department so they can help Santa deliver them. Donors will be emailed a tax receipt at the time of purchase. This will run until Tuesday-7-December. Items can purchased on the You Give Goods website at: https://yougivegoods.com/drive/
 They are hoping to reach at least 500 items to be donated this Holiday Season.

 The Student Council at the E.Roy Bixby School in Bogota is participating in the 2021 Toys for Tots campaign. They will be collecting toys for those in need this holiday season. Please donate a new, unwrapped toy if you can by December 17th. Any questions please email: cnagurka@bogotaboe.com

 The organization Never Alone Again Domestic Violence Organization & Resource Center (NAAG)  will host a covid -19 testing site. This will run  every Saturday from 10:30 a to 1:00p. Please Provide ID & Medical Insurance. If you don’t have medical insurance please provide ID. 
Their resource centre located at  668 American Legion Dr. Teaneck, NJ.

The Bogota Board of Education has re-scheduled their second meeting for November.  The original meeting was cancelled due to a failure to achieve a quorum of at least five trustees.This is scheduled to start at 7:00p. The meeting will be held in the Bogota High School Cafeteria located on the second floor at 2 Henry Luthin Pl Bogota, NJ and will be a virtually meeting.

In advance of the remote public meeting, the Board shall allow public comments to be submitted to the Board Secretary by electronic mail and in written letterform by Monday-22-November by 10:00 a

The Ridgefield Park Library will host their Festival of Wreaths for the 2021 Holiday Season. Wreaths will be on display during regular Library business hours. Everyone making a donation to the Library at this time will be entered into raffle to win a wreath . The drawing will be held on Monday-6-December ands will be broadcasted live on line. The Ridgefield Park Elks lodge #1506 will host a Tuesday Night Dinner.
The dinner will be Sausage & Peppers sandwiches with onions. Included are French Fries, Salad, and Dessert. This is a $10.00 donation fee per order. Indoor seating will be available by reservation and pre-order only. Orders will be for in town deliveries only, and must be pre-order. This will start at 6:00p.

The Bogota Public Library will  close 2:00p and reopen on Saturday -27-November with it regular hours.
Bogota Public Schools will have a half day and reopen on Monday-29-November

Ridgefield Park
The Ridgefield Park  Public Library will  close 1:00p and reopen on Monday-29-November with it regular hours.
Ridgefield Park  Public Schools will have a half day (also on Tuesday-23-November) and reopen on Monday-29-November

The Bogota Public Library will be close and will reopen on Saturday -27-November with it regular hours.

Ridgefield Park
The Offices of Ridgefield Park Municipal Building will be closed and will reopen on Monday-29-November
The Ridgefield Park  Public Library will  close 1:00p and reopen on Monday-29-November with it regular hours.

Ridgefield Park recycling Centre will be closed and reopen on Saturday-27-November

Friday-26-November
Ridgefield Park, NJ
The Ridgefield Park Elks lodge #1506 will host an Evening with Uncle Floyd. Doors will open at 7:00p This is a $20.00 donation fee per person. Proceeds will go to repairs at Camp Moore. There will be a cash bar, and Snacks may be brought in.

 The Bogota Recreation Department will hold it annual Menorah Lighting Ceremony. This is scheduled to start at 4:30p. It will be held in front of Borough Hall located at 375 Larch Ave. Bogota, NJ. The Public is welcomed.

Ridgefield Park, NJ

 The Village of Ridgefield Park will hold it annual Holiday Lighting Ceremony. This is scheduled to start at 5:00p. It will be held in front of the Municipal Building located at 234 Main St. Ridgefield Park, NJ. The Public is welcomed. The winners of the  completed set of 2021 " Cops Cards" will be announced.
