October to December
    Monday-4-October will be the start of Leaf Season. Home Owners are allowed to place raked, leaves and grass cutting  in the street , along the curb, in front of their residents.  It is ask that the piles be placed in such a way as not to interfere with traffic, and away from storm sewers and drain to prevent flooding , or other water build-up. Leaf Season is schedule to end on Monday -13- December after that date all yard waste must be placed in brown leaf bags for pick-up.

October to December
  Friday-15-October will be the start of Leaf Season. Bogota Friends and Families have started their annual  Toy Drive with You Give Goods. They will  again be working with the Bogota Police Department  to supply them for their annual Holiday Toy Drive.  All gifts will be shipped directly to the Bogota Police Department so they can help Santa deliver them. Donors will be emailed a tax receipt at the time of purchase. This will run until Tuesday-7-December.  They are hoping to reach at least 500 items to be donated this Holiday Season.

 The Student Council at the E.Roy Bixby School in Bogota is participating in the 2021 Toys for Tots campaign. They will be collecting toys for those in need this holiday season. Please donate a new, unwrapped toy if you can by December 17th. Any questions please email: cnagurka@bogotaboe.com

 The organization Never Alone Again Domestic Violence Organization & Resource Center (NAAG)  will host a covid -19 testing site. This will run  every Saturday from 10:30 a to 1:00p. Please Provide ID & Medical Insurance. If you don’t have medical insurance please provide ID.

The Ridgefield Park Library will host their Festival of Wreaths for the 2021 Holiday Season. Wreaths will be on display during regular Library business hours. Everyone making a donation to the Library at this time will be entered into raffle to win a wreath . The drawing will be held on Monday-6-December ands will be broadcasted live on line.  The Village of Ridgefield Park will hold it annual Holiday Lighting Ceremony. This is scheduled to start at 5:00p. It will be held in front of the Municipal Building located at 234 Main St. Ridgefield Park, NJ. The Public is welcomed. The winners of the  completed set of 2021 " Cops Cards" will be announced.

 The Bogota Public Library will hold their next Bogota Test Kitchen meeting. The Village of Ridgefield Park will their annual Pearl Harbor Memorial Service. This will  commemorate the 80th anniversary of the attack on Pearl Harbor.  The service will be held at the Veterans Memorial Monument (Euclid Avenue & Mt Vernon Street) on Tuesday-7-December and is scheduled to start at 7:00p.




Wednesday-8-December
Bogota

The Bogota Public Library will host an  special Live Sing Along with Tommy geared towards youngsters ages 0-3. These sing alongs will be filled with movement and songs to help nurture the mind of your little one.  This program will be held virtually on Zoom and will be live. In order to keep the Zoom links private, all participants must register here to receive the participation link.

The Village of Ridgefield Park Board of Commissioners will hold their Caucus meeting. This will be a virtual meeting and scheduled to start at 7:00p. The meeting is open to the public. This will take place in the conference room located on the third Floor at 234 Main St. Ridgefield Park, NJ.

The Ridgefield Park Elks lodge #1506 will host a Fish Fry Dinner.
They will offer six choice of seafood dinner  this will  a choice of French Fries or baked Potato and Salad, and Dessert. This is a $10.00 donation fee per order. Indoor seating will be available by reservation and pre-order only. Orders will be for in town deliveries only, and must be pre-order.  A orders must be placed by Wednesday-8-December.This will start at 6:00p.

The Ridgefield Park Elks lodge #1506 will host a breakfast with Santa  for special needs children starting at 9:00a.
Reservation are required. 
Cereal, muffins, cookies and juice will be available.
