Friday-15-October will be the start of Leaf Season. Home Owners are allowed to place raked, leaves and grass cutting in the street , along the curb, in front of their residents. It is ask that the piles be placed in such a way as not to interfere with traffic, and away from storm sewers and drain to prevent flooding , or other water build-up. Leaf Season is schedule to end on Friday-31- December after that date all yard waste must be placed in brown leaf bags for pick-up.

The organization Never Alone Again Domestic Violence Organization & Resource Center (NAAG) will host a covid -19 testing site. This will run every Saturday from 10:30 a to 1:00p. Please Provide ID & Medical Insurance. If you don’t have medical insurance please provide ID.

Members of The Bogota Volunteer Fire Dept. will be escorting Santa on his Lollipop tour of the Borough. This a final chance for the Bogota Children to show Santa that they have be nice this year. He starts his tour at about Noon with Lollipops being passed out by his helpers. Santa asked every coming out to watch practice safe distancing.

Santa will again tour Bogota again driven by members of The Bogota Volunteer Fire Dept. He will be offering Christmas wishes one more time, before all the good children go to become snug in their bed. This will start with the East side of the Borough at 5:00p and travel all through Bogota. He will then return to the North Pole so he can begin delivering present for Christmas Morning.

The Following will be closed for Christmas

The Bogota Public library will be close at 2:00p on Friday-24-December. They will be closed all day on Saturday-25-December. The library will reopen at its regular time on Monday-27-December.
The Bogota Borough Hall will be close on Friday. Borough Hall will reopen at its regular time on Monday-27-December
The Bogota Department of Public Works will be close on Friday. The Recycling Center will reopen at its regular time on Monday-27-December. There will be no regular Friday trash pick-up.
Ridgefield Park
The Ridgefield Park Public Library will be close on Thursday and Friday 24 & 25 December.
The library will reopen at its regular time on Monday-27-December
The Ridgefield Park Municipal Building will be close on Saturday- 25- December
Teaneck
The Teaneck Public library will be close on Friday & Saturday-24 & 25 December. The library
will reopen at its regular time on Monday-27-December.
The Teaneck Municipal Building will be close on Friday 25 December. Reopen at its regular
time on Monday-27-December by appointment only .
