On Thursday-26-June, the Bogota Recreation Department hosted their first movie for the Summer Season. This night’s presentation was the film “Dog Man.” This took place in-front of the Band Shell in Olsen Park. The inflatable screen was set-up by Premier Productions. Snacks were provided by the Recreation Department.
About 100 people, including Children and their Families watched the movie from their own blankets or chairs. With a couple lines of younger children needing to sit on the grass, as close to the screen as they could get.
The next event is the Thursday concert with the music by “Who Brought the Dogs.” This will take place on Thursday-10-July starting at 6:30p. It will be held in the Band Shell at Olsen Park.
The next Outdoor movie with Thursday-24-July in-cooperation with the Bogota Public Library at 7:00p. (or at Sunset) The title will be announced.
Bogota Recreation Department’s Summer series will take place every 2nd and 4th Thursday through August. These are free events opened to the Public. It is suggested that everyone attending bring their own chairs or blankets.
