HEAT ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 7 PM EDT THIS EVENING.
-WHAT...Heat index values up to 102.
-WHERE...Portions of southern Connecticut, northeast New Jersey,
  and southeast New York.
-WHEN...Until 7 PM EDT this evening.
-IMPACTS...High temperatures and high humidity may cause heat
  illnesses.
AIR QUALITY ALERT IN EFFECT FROM 11 AM TO 11 PM EDT WEDNESDAY.
The New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection has issued an
-Air Quality Action Day for the following counties:
Bergen, Eastern Passaic, Hudson, Essex, Union, from 11 AM to 11 PM EDT Wednesday.
-An Air Quality Action Day means that Ground Level Ozone within the
region may approach or exceed unhealthy standards.

The County of Bergen’s five regional cooling centers will be open from Sunday, June 22, 2025, to Friday, June 27, 2025, from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
