Some events happening in and around Bogota and Ridgefield Park for the weekend starting Thursday-28-August. Additional information will be added when confirmed.

  The Borough has started a Hometown Heroes Banner program. This will allow residents of Bogota to honor a family member who serviced in the Armed Servies. The cost of a banners will be $150.00 payable to the Borough of Bogota. The Bogota Public Library Fo0d for Thought Book Club Starting at 7:00p.  This is "Bear" by Ms. Julia Phillipps. Copies of the book will be available at the registration desk. The Bogota Borough Hall be closed until Tuesday-2-September in Observance of the Labor Day Weekend. 
The Recycling Centre will be closed and, there will be no yard waste pick-up. Both the Recycling Center will be open, and yard pick-up will be Tuesday-2-September

Ridgefield Park, NJ
The Ridgefield Park Public Library be closed until Tuesday-2-September in Observance of the Labor Day Weekend.
The Recycling Centre will be closed and, there will be no yard waste pick-up. Both the Recycling Center will be open, and yard pick-up will be Tuesday-2-September

The Ridgefield Park Recycling Centre be closed until Tuesday-2-September in Observance of the Labor Day Weekend.  There will be no Trash pick-up. Yard Waste will be picked up from Mt. Veron St and South.
The Ridgefield Park Municipal Building be closed until Tuesday-2-September in Observance of the Labor Day Weekend.

The Bogota Seniors meeting 11:00a. It will be held in the Seniors Center on the second floor of 375 Larch Ave. Bogota. It is open to the public

Bogota 
 The Bogota Public Library will have "Tiny But Mighty" story time reading starting at 10:30a. This is for Children ages 3 three years and younger. The Bogota Public Library will have a Crochet Workshop at 6:00p. It will be held in the second floor Seniors Centre.  Students from age 12-18 are invited to join and learn the basics of crochet. Projects can include stuffed animals, clothes, and other geeky goodies. Registration required. Bogota
 The Bogota Public Schools open their 2025-26 school. All Schools will have a half-day session. All School Building will be open a half hour before the start of the day.
This will be the first day of the new redistricting for the Elementary schools
Bixby School will now have Student from Pre-School to Second Grade. The Homeroom will start at 8:30a.
Steen School will now have Students from Third to Fifth Grades Home room start at 8:20a
Bogota Middle School will nave Students from Sixth to Seventh Grade. Homeroom start at 8:15a
Bogota High School will have Students from Eight to Twelfth Grade. Homeroom start at 8:15a
There will be a courtesy bus from Bixby leaving at 7:55a to go to Steen.
A bus will leave Steen at 8:05a to go to Bixby.
