Highlights from the 100th Anniversary Home-coming Weekend.
The weekend started with a trio of sporting events.
- On Friday-24 October.
The first was the Middle School Lady Bucs Volleyball hosting Paramus in the Middle School Gym.
Also, the varsity Lady Bucs Volleyball defeated Saddle River Day School 2-0 (25-15: 25-11) in Speary Gym. In the match the day before Lady Bucs’ Emma Fowler recorded her 1,000th Kill of the Varsity career in a 2-0 (25-13: 25-12)
Bogota Soccer Bucs Senior Game defeated Passaic Charter 3-0 on Feigel Field. This was the Senior Game for the 2025 season.
After the game there was the Bogota 100 Kickoff Bonfire with Marching Buccaneers Band and Twirlers in the Vic Scully Field in Olsen Park.
-Saturday-25-October started the ribbon cutting the new Career & Technical Education Building (CTE). This was held in front of the building at 390 Palisade Ave.
As this was happening the Bogota Cross Country Lady Bucs would finish in third place at the Bergen County Meet of Champions.
Before the Football Bucs Football game, the Senior Students for the Marching Buccaneer Band, the Twilling Squad, Cheerleaders, both Cross Country Squads and Football team were honoured to start the evening.
Next game a ribbon cutting and rededication of Fiegel Field at the Bogota Athletic Sports Complex. In his address to those in attendance Superintendent Mr. Damian Kennedy said “What a great day to be a Bogota Buc! Today, we celebrate 100 years of Bogota High Schools on this special homecoming weekend at our brand-new sports complex.” Then Board of Education President Mr. Frank Miranda, and Council President Ms. Lisa Koles cut a Bucs Gold ribbon to open.
Durning the coin toss Mr. Stephen Feigel, son of Mr. Joseph Feigel which the sports field is named after.
When before returning to their teammates the football Captain thanked and shook the hands of Feigel Family members in attendance.

Durning the halftime show as the Marching Buccaneers Band play a firework displayed took place behind the band from Vin Scully Field. This was provided by Celebration Fireworks.
Bogota would win the game over Palisades Park by the score 44 to 8.
-Sunday-25-October the Bogota 5k Run moved through the Streets of the Borough finished as the first running event on the new running track. There was also a one mile walk which was four times around the running track. Then a Kids sprint once around the track was the last race of the day. After the awards were presented the Bogota Marching Buccaneer Band played a preview of their set as a part of the 78th North Jersey Band Festival later that day in Clifton Stadium.
