On Saturday-8-November the Bogota Cross Country Bucs competed in the 2025 New Jersey State Interscholastic Athletic Association Cross Country Group Championship held at Holmdel Park.
The Lady Bucs Finished in third place out of the 20 Group 1 schools taking part. The top Lady Bucs runners were Ana Michel in 12th place with Fergie Onate-Avila next at 13th place. Anna Ter-Meliksetian came in at 23rd, Isabella Cruz was 36th with Maya Schiaraturain 47th position. From a field of 145 participants.
The Men's squad came in at 14th place from a field of 20 Group 1 Schools. The top Bucs runners were: Emmanuel Marin in 25th place, Zohaib Syed in 34th, Hussain Salam at 65th Ethan Schwarzenbach in 1o2nd and Ernesto Santana at 125th place, from the field of 144 runners.
In the 2025 season the Bogota Cross Country Bucs would both squads were unbeaten in Divisional meeting with the Lady Bucs going 12 -0 with the Men's squad being 12-0.
Both Squads would win the Divisional Championship meet with Fergie Onate-Avila and Emmanuel Marin winning the individual titles. They would also win the Bergen County Group "D" Championship, with Fergie Onate-Avila and Emmanuel Marin winning the Group "D" individual titles
The Lady Bucs would win the 2025 New Jersey State Interscholastic Athletic Association Cross Country North 2 Group 1 Championship, with coming in First overall.
On Saturday-8-November the #3 Bogota Lady Volleyball Bucs hosted the # 2 Verona Lady Hillbillies in a Semifinal match. of the 2025 New Jersey State Interscholastic Athletic Association (NJSIAA) Women’s Volleyball North Jersey 2 Group 1 Tournament.
Verona would win the match by a score of 3 to 1 (25-14: 25-18: 22-25: 25-20). Bogota's Emma Fowler and Verona's Brynn Mack both had match highs with 24 Kills. Ariana Marchant led the Lady Bucs with 14 Digs. Verona's Sofia Morales recorded a match high with 27 Digs. The Lady Hillbillies' Samantha Heimall posted a match high with 37 Assists. Nikole Alvarez had 34 Assists for Bogota.
Four Lady Bucs, Emma Fowler, Lucy Villamar, Yiesak Cabrera and Melannie Solis had 8 Service Points each., Ms. Fowler, Ms. Solis, and Ms. Alvarez recorded 2 Aces. Verona's Jessica Theobald led all players with 10 Service Points, with Olivia Baureis adding a match high with 4 Aces. Lady Hillbillies' Mary Jane Finn accounted for 5 blocks. Bogota's Keidy Rodiguez, Nikole Alvarez, Angelina Grod, Allene Jimenez, Talia Luciano, and Ariana Carmona all finished with 2 Blocks apiece.
Emma Fowler finishes with 1,090 Kills, 400 Service Points including 78 Aces, 336 Digs, 42 Blocks, and 10 Assists.
Melannie Solis finishes with 542 Service Points including 125 Aces, 436 Digs, 42 Blocks, 364 Assists and 10 Kills.
The Lady Bucs 2025 record is 22-5.
