BogotaThe Borough has started a Hometown Heroes Banner program. This will allow residents of Bogota to honor a family member who serviced in the Armed Servies. The cost of a banners will be $150.00 payable to the Borough of Bogota. Leaf season is from Monday-13-October until Monday-22-December. Homeowners are allowed to place raked, leaves and grass cutting in the street, along the curb, in front of their residents. It is asked that the piles be placed in such a way as not to interfere with traffic, and away from storm sewers and drain to prevent flooding, or other water build-up. Leaf Season is schedule to end on Monday-23-December after that date all yard waste must be placed in brown leaf bags for pick-up.

BOGOTA PD: THE BERGEN COUNTY ROAD DEPT IS COMPLETING WORK ON RIVER RD AND ELM AVE. THE ROADWAY IS CLOSED IN BOTH DIRECTIONS UNTIL APPROX. 4PM PLAN ALT. ROUTE AND EXPECT HEAVY DELAYS
BOGOTA OEM ALERT: The Bergen County Road Department is completing roadwork on River Road and Elm Avenue. The southbound lane of River Road will be closed until approximately 11/26/2025, plan alternate route and expect heavy delays in the area.
This is to preform repairs on the bridge that crosses over the creek under River Rd.

The Ridgefield Park Elks Lodge # 1506 will host a Tuesday Night Dinner of Roast Beef with salad, and desert. This will take place in the Elks lodge is located at the 30 Spruce St. Ridgefield Park, NJ. The event will start at 6:00p a with a donation of $12.00 per person. Dinner will include salad and desert. Bogota Borough Hall will be close for the Thanksgiving Holiday. It will reopen on Monday-1-December at their regular hours.
The Bogota DPW & the Recycling Centre will close for the Thanksgiving Holiday.
The Recycling Centre will reopen on Saturday-29-November at their regular hours. There will be regular Trash pick-up.
